Djimon

Made in 2008, this is my second working with Clay after the Tadewi Hand, this pot is a ring pot and took approximately two-three weeks to complete and is still waiting to be put in the kiln. With the head of an eagle and mane of a lion, this pot is a griffin and thus named "Djimon" meaning powerful blood as the griffin is a combination of the kings of the animal world. It was started during September of 2008. There is a handle, however due to complications with the clay it will be adhered after being put in the kiln.

Below are pages from my Research Work Book.
