This still life was done during 2007 and is a close up of the paint brush pot. though I'm not particularly satisfied with the end result, I've learned a massive amount about this medium during this work. I've learned about starting with the back and how to produce metalic appearance. I can now use this knowledge in my next painting to improve upon where my mistakes lay in this work. This work, also being one of my first experiences with paints other that watercolors allowed me to determine my focus for the rest of my works: to learn and experiment with as many other mediums as time would allow me.
